Steve Nutzman provides an update of the teen camps that occurred across the U.S. this summer.

The 27th year of United Youth Camps has concluded (except for Winter Camp in late December), but joyous memories and spiritual growth remain for the 470 teen campers and 324 staff who attended one of the five teen camps in June or July. In addition, a dozen “challengers” participated in Challenger Sierra from Aug. 3-9. Challenger Sierra is an off-grid wilderness experience for adults ages 18 to 30+. This was the first year at this beautiful venue located in the Emigrant Wilderness just north of Yosemite, California.

We sincerely thank you parents and members for your prayers and financial support and we especially thank the dedicated staff who served at camp. We have the best staff imaginable. The Christian living theme was “Becoming Sons and Daughters of God.” The campers and staff were “all in” with the Christian living classes.

We thank the loving Eternal God for His protection and blessing. It is because of Him that this camp program continues to serve teens and families.

Active in the ministry of Jesus Christ for five decades, Steve was closely involved with the United Youth Camps program from 1996 to 2022.
